Arkona Lions projects ,starting off with the Arkona Lions Museum And Information Centre at Rock Glen Conservation Park , Arkona ,Ontario . This building was made possible through the generous donation from the Arkona Lions Club in Co-Operation with The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority . Officially opened Saturday August 9th 1986 . The Museum was built to display the Native Artifacts and Fossils that Ted Baxter had collected , and with several Donations throughout the years , the Museum is getting a wide variety of Artifacts such as ,more Native Artifacts and Fossils from the area and around the World , Minerals , and a great assortment of Taxidermy
