The Arkona Lions would like to Thank Lambton Shores for the Accessibility Award that was presented to the club on Thursday September 12/19 The award was given to the club at the 13th Annual Volunteer Recognition BBQ in honour of all Volunteers in Lambton County. The meal was amazing and everyone had a great time. In front of everyone on the table was a blue item that everyone had a hard time telling what it was -- The Mayor of Lambton Shores Mr. Bill Weber made an announcement telling everyone that the item is a reusable straw, what a great way to save on the waste from plastic straws. There was a lot of awards presented to amazing volunteers and organizations. Lambton Shores is truly blessed with a lot of wonderful giving people.
